Restores the loss of one or more teeth

The dental prosthesis is a metallic structure with several artificial teeth that is anchored to the teeth and serves to replace missing pieces or bone structures that have been reabsorbed over time with the loss of natural teeth. Through these prosthetic devices, chewing, swallowing, speech and aesthetics of patients are restored.

They are performed in the laboratory by the dental technician under the instructions of the dentist, the latter being the only one qualified and legally empowered to work directly on the patient’s mouth. The most used materials in its manufacture are porcelain, acrylic and various metals.
